CARDIFF – It’s a good time to be a Cardiff dog owner as a new dog park is ready to unveil itself where dogs and their owners can play and socialize.
Dirty Dogs and a team of neighborhood locals, updated the park over the past month located on the northwest corner of George Berkich Park at Cardiff Elementary School. What was once a dirt lot compiled of wood chips, has been replaced with fresh grass and a conservation-minded irrigation system. There is even a designated sand box that gives the dogs a place to dig, which several dogs have already enthusiastically tested. The park enclosed, with more than 200 feet of new fencing and double gate entry system is perfect to secure a safe off the leash playing environment.
The Cardiff dog park will host a grand opening party on Sunday October 21st from 1-4pm. In honor of the new park, the event will include food, drinks, dog treats and more. Residents and their pups from all over North County San Diego are encouraged to stop by, and get a feel for how dog friendly the community of Cardiff trully is…
With the generous contributions from the Cardiff community and funding by Dirty Dogs to complete the construction of fence and labor, North County now has one more dog park for canines to romp and play freeley with the supervision of Mom or Dad!
For information on the opening of the new park visit Dirty Dogs or catch up with them on the Dirty Dogs Newsletter! Be sure to follow Dirty Dogs on Facebook for the latest San Diego dog community headlines.
Hope to see you and your pup on Sunday! Bark on!
