A Look at Barking Beast Media, Press and Event Appearances of 2013

It has been a crazy year for Barking Beast. Sixteen short months ago I launched this dog lifestyle publication- and since then I have been beyond busy promoting my enthusiasm for dogs throughout the San Diego pet community. What was originally supposed to be a dog blog where I talked about everyday life with my dog Jack has become a forum for the pet community in Southern California. Today, people from all over the San Diego canine community have written in to me with their stories saying how they relate to the stories I post about Jack and myself. Dog-friendly businesses have reached out introducing their products to me and asking if I willpromote them on the blog.  Pet Festivals and Expos have invited me to share my blog with industry event attendees. I have had the opportunity to sponsor pet-friendly events with some of San Diego’s most established pet businesses and rescue organizations. Above all, executives from high profile pet businesses in the dog industry continue to invite me to be a part of their prestigious events to raise money for homeless animals. Today not only do I take pride in maintaining this blog,  but I am also a contributing affiliate to the amazing San Diego Pets Magazine.  I have always been an animal lover; however, years ago if you told me I would be writing a full-time lifestyle dog blog and working with the San Diego Pets Magazine I would thought it was far fetched thinking, “I’m not that crazy about animals”, but today I can confidently say I know it was meant for me. All my life I have always been an animal lover (dog lover in particular) who wanted to give back to the community. I am incredibly grateful for the success of Barking Beast and I am excited for the new ventures this blog will bring me in the future. Here is a look at the media, press and event appearances I have made on behalf of Barking Beast and the San Diego Pets Magazine …
