Hooray! The only other exciting thing to do with a dog besides outdoor adventures is “Yappy Hours”. Quality time with my dog + a fun happy hour event + raising money for animals in need = my idea of a good time. SO you can imagine how excited I was when I heard about next week’s Dirty Dog’s “Bark After Dark” event.

While Dirty Dogs is known to be San Diego’s premiere pet grooming food and retail store, they are also known as a prominent name in the San Diego pet parties category. Dirty Dogs regularly hosts Fido friendly events while raising money for local animal shelters in our community. Bark After Dark is just one of the many events Dirty Dogs hosts, and next Wednesday, June 25th from 5-830pm they are throwing a fancy Bark After Dark event at the beautiful Hotel Indigo with an ocean view from the cliffs of Del Mar, Ca. So cool, right? I am totally excited about it.

The event will be held on the hotels outdoor patio overlooking the pool and ocean. The patio is dog friendly and it’s right in our backyard! Dirty Dogs has teamed up with Furry Foster and proceeds will help them support their network of foster families and rescued dogs.

Like every Bark After Dark, lots of dog treats will be consumed, guaranteed, and there will be plenty of food for humans to go around. Dirty Dogs and the Hotel Indigo have created amazing food and drink packages for guests so that everything is taken care of and guests can focus on relaxing and enjoying the summer evening. The hotel will have a full bar and an assortment of finger foods that they will be offering throughout the evening. $25 gets you 2 drinks and 1 food item while couples can enjoy $40 for 4 drinks and 3 food items from their special menu. OMG! I’m seriously counting down the days!

We hope to see you and your fur babies there as I’m sure everyone will have a great time! There are a lot of pet friendly events hosted throughout San Diego but nothing compares to a Dirty Dogs Bark After Dark party. Nothing!

Dirty Dogs was recently named Best Pet Groomer in San Diego for the fifth year in a row by Ranch & Coast Magazine. They have been huge supporters of raising money for sports teams, non profit groups, school clubs and social groups by hosting dog washing fundraisers, holiday pet friendly events to give back to local families and children in the North County community. In September of last year, Dirty Dogs made a generous contribution to the North County dog community by funding the construction of the new Cardiff dog park located on the northwest corner of George Berkick Park at Cardiff Elementary school. Today the 200 feet of new fencing, fresh cut grass, and double gated canine playground is a huge hit among the Cardiff dog community.
