Oh.Em.Gee! Guess who’s attending the FOX’S CAUSE FOR PAWS: ALL-STAR DOG SPECTACULAR on Saturday! This girl. Oh yeah turn up the music!
The exciting FOX’S CAUSE FOR PAWS special will honor and celebrate the wonderful joy rescue dogs bring to our lives! Taking place this Saturday November 22nd in Santa Monica, the show will feature inspiring and funny stories of rescue dogs, honor the best viral videos starring rescue pups, include games featuring dogs and celebrity participants and feature stories honoring people who dedicate their lives to rescuing animals in need. The special will include awards and celebrity presentations showcasing a variety of canine categories, and viewers will also be provided with information regarding adoptable animals in their local areas.
Additionally, the special will give viewers the opportunity to donate during the show to raise funds for rescue organizations throughout the U.S. in the all-new two-hour special event FOX’S CAUSE FOR PAWS: AN ALL-STAR DOG SPECTACULAR that will air on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 27 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
To make things even more PAWSOME- there will be THREE rescue dogs in the show representing TWO rescues from SAN DIEGO! The three pups consist of smaller breeds who have overcome some incredibly challenging obstacles in their lives. Like the rest of their furry counterparts staring in the show, these dogs deserve nothing less than a home full of overwhelming and unconditional love.
Bo and Toby a seniors -bonded pair are rescues from Frosted Faces Foundation of San Diego.

Sparky a paraplegic chihuahua is a rescue from the Open Arms Rescue of San Diego.

SO, if you live in San Diego and you’re looking to adopt with preference of a miniature dog, my suggestion is you support the rescue shelters local to our city, and consider Bo and Toby, or Sparky as your newest family member… I must say, if Sparky is still available after the show debut, I may have to adopt him myself. He is just that cute!
ON another note- let me also say the celebrity guest list for this event is crazy AWESOME! It’s being co-hosted by Jane Lynch and Hilary Swank- something I am losing my marbles over because I deeply love and respect both of those women.
Have you guys watched Celebrity Game Night? Talk about laugh out loud, Jane Lynch is hilarious! AND don’t get me started on the million dollar baby- Swanks success in animal rescue most certainly gives her on screen success as a two-time Oscar winner a run for its money. Seriously, in another life I’d like to come back as Hillary Swank. She’s my hero. Last year I found a friend in her at the 2013 Petco Hope Gala where she accepted the HOPE GALA Honoree Award on behalf the Hilaroo Foundation a program she founded which rescues emotionally and physically abused animals from the streets. God Bless you Hillary!
The event will take place at Barker Hangar which hosts some of the most exclusive events in Southern California, so it’s going to be a very luxurious event. Fancy huh! The place is going to be buzzing with dog lovers. I LOVE being in the presence of dog lovers, the excitement and energy is always contagious! Check out the shows celebrity guest list below, consisting of Hollywood A-listers, ALL who are HUGE pet enthusiasts! Presenters and Participants will include… DRUM ROLL please….

I am so grateful for the wonderful organizations who are committed to hosting shows with a goal to raise money for homeless shelter pets, such as the FOX CAUSE FOR PAWS SPECTACULAR. My heart is inspired by the thousands of high profile celebrities, like the ones attending this event, who use their fame to shine light on the importance of adopting from rescue shelters and not from breeders. God Bless!
I hope you will all tune in on Thanksgiving night at 8pm to watch the show as well to make donations towards the cause. If you’re like me, around that time on Thanksgiving you won’t feel like doing anything else BUT resting in front of the tube with a loosened belt as the tryptophan begins to settle into your system. LOL! This show will definitely be as entertaining and inspiring. I’m super excited to attend the live event, followed by watching the television broadcast!
Alright – I’m off to brew up outfit ideas for Saturday! I’ll be back later with a FOX CAUSE FOR PAWS recap, so expect a lengthy post about all that! Goodnight.
Be sure to follow FOX’S CAUSE FOR PAWS on Twitter and Facebook! Woof!
