Tonight in San Diego: San Diego’s hottest late night show

Last night was an exciting night for me- I guest appeared on San Diego’s new late night show Tonight in San Diego!  In case you haven’t brushed up on what’s hot in America’s Finest City, this show is it!  It’s new, exciting and fun, and above all produced by a group of talented young writers and comedians, which in my opinion is exactly what this city needs.  I jumped at the opportunity when they invited me be a guest and talk about Barking Beast and my work in the community.  I knew it was going to be an awesome experience, having seen Chris Cantore one of my favorite San Diego radio DJ’s on the show.

Being a part of a similar late night show- FOX Sports San Diego’s #SDLive, I was very impressed with the production quality of Tonight in San Diego.  They do a fantastic job highlighting what’s happening in San Diego and who’s making it happen. They also showcased great comedy entertainment between acts amongst the show host Jeff Krapf, the co-host Jesse Egan, and DJ Teelyn.  I was cracking up backstage.  Jeff Krapf is a pretty amazing host I must say- definitely “late night” style, he’s super funny and a cool guy.

Before I went on stage, I spent time in the green room with the guys from Miscailments, the band who performed last night.  I loved chatting with the group, as well as the production staff. Of course I was sure to take a selfie with the beautiful ladies of Tonight in San Diego, Erika De La Cruz, Meryl Klemow, and Megan Guy!

What I really enjoyed about the crew other than infectious energy everyone had– was it seemed they’re all just as excited into pets as I am.  Megan one of the show’s production assistants has turned me onto a new non-profit organization called Animal Pad, which I am excited to work with this summer.  And get this– In case any of you are wondering where you recognize the Tonight in San Diego show host Jeff Krapf, if not from Tonight in San Diego- does Pet Lounge ring a bell!? Yep believe it!  Jeff Krapf is also the show host for Pet Lounge which I been plugging here on the ole’ blog for quite some time now. I am seriously losing my marbles over that. OMG – love it!

When it was finally my call time I made sure to show up and show out wearing my favorite heels and my best curls!  I shared with the audience about Barking Beast, my work as the pet correspondent on FOX Sports San Diego, the Barking Beast Runway Show, and future projects I have in store.  It was lots of fun and laughs with Jeff Krapf  Seriously – I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity!

Tonight in San Diego is onto something great!  What an incredible experience and the highlight of my month I am certain. Can’t say enough good things about the awesome cast and crew.  I am extra thankful to Fale Luis Tonight in San Diego’s Executive Producer for his enthusiasm about my work and inviting me to be on his amazing show.  Very proud, excited and honored having been a part of this production and look forward celebrating their success with future episodes!
