Besides all the amazing camp features, the facility staff really makes the stay a special experience. CRAM San Marcos is owned by Lloyd and Sabrina Reid who are very hands on owners and dedicated to the care and happiness of each guest who walks through their doors. These two caring, dog-centric people have participated in years of dog training classes, including basic and advanced obedience, as well as agility, rally and nose work for enjoyment purposes.

Sabrina has been a registered nurse for 17 years, and also works in the field of substance abuse. Her real passion is their dogs, and the dogs of every other person she encounters.  She is so devoted to her dogs, her family’s dogs and her neighbor’s dogs, that she thought it would be a good idea to open a dog camp!  Lloyd, is retired and has decades of supervisory experience with training and instruction that translates to his relationships with dogs.  Lucky for the Camp Run-A-Mutt San Marcos staff, he shares his talents with them so that they can deliver the highest quality service to the customers and their dogs.  Lloyd is also a certified Pet Tech Instructor and will provide the staff members with the all-important first-aid and CPR training should any of the pet guests need emergency care on-site.  To the Reid’s, the venture was really all about the dogs, so you are sure to meet the real motivation behind the Camp upon arrival the Reid family dogs;  Betty, a 5-year old Terrier/Dachshund mix, Walter a 4-year old charcoal Lab, and the newest addition to their family, Lois, the English Mastiff (size aside) puppy.

From the minute your dog steps paw in Camp Run A Mutt San Marcos, the love and enthusiasm for animals is very clear as it is infectious.
